HELP FUND RAISE! Deli cat needs specialist consult!
UPDATE:
Good news about my sisters cat Deli & her heart murmur.
We've now been told about a cheaper option for a heart scan, costing just over £100 instead of £700.
We're upset that we weren't informed of this option before but are glad it's available as this means we may actually be able to reach the goal.
We've adjusted our gofundme goal and are aiming for that.
Because of this we're almost half way to the goal now!

Hello everyone,
Last year me and my sister were feeding a family of 4 cats that had been abandoned by their owner. In this group was my very own Nimue, and her daughter Delilah. When I took in Nim, my sister took in Deli (the other two cats were taken in by local people).
Deli is about a year and a half old.
It was clear from the start that something weird was going on with the cats and we suspected they were all a little inbred, which made Deli twice as inbred as we suspect her father is also her uncle. She has the same lower jaw deformity as him.
Deli was recently taken to the vet for a check up and it was discovered that besides her slightly deformed lower jaw, she has a severe (grade 4 out of 6) heart murmur. She also has breathing issues that could be caused by fluid on the lungs, a possible symptom of the heart murmur.
The heart murmur is severe enough that we're not sure if surgery can help, but would need further investigation to know for sure. But if we do nothing at all there's a high chance that this issue will kill her. So we want to at least see if it's possible.
The vet suggested a specialist consult and ultrasound, however this costs over £700. This cost also doesn't include any future surgery if that's an option.
The last two years haven't been kind to my family, things keep happening on all fronts, from losing loved ones to severe illness, and we're in a position that we can't afford this on our own.
Due to her health issues and inbreeding, Deli isn't insurable by most pen insurance companies, and those that would accept previous health issues require 2 years of no symptoms, which is impossible for a cat under 2 years old.
If anyone is willing to help us by donating, please do!
If not, just sharing this information would be a great help to us.
All funds go to the cost of this consult.
The sooner we have the funds, the sooner we can know if there's anything to be done for Deli medically or if it's just something she has to live with.
Donations can be made on the gofindme page!
Previous donations via paypal have been put into the gofundme by me.

Oh, good lord. I hope the best of your donation, and for your cats' health! A severe heart murmur is definitely a threatening thing and I hope for her recovery! I sadly don't have any money, so I cannot donate. :< But, I am praying that your cat does get the surgery and will be healed soon!
