I miss RO. Since we closed down the last server we opened, it's been kinda hard to get back into playin...

It's a hard game to stick to anyway. Owning a server huh? That must've been fun? 8D

Owning a server is fun...but there's a lot of work, and people can seem really ungrateful. They don't realize how much work it takes to fix a coding problem, deal with drama that the players think you should solve for them, deal with getting spammed for free items, being expected to solve everyone's tech issues that they could easily have just googled or followed the in-depth guide that it took you an hour to write on your forums...all at the same time...

I'd totally do it again if I had the proper crew and the spare cash to afford to rent out a server box, website and forums every month in case the donations don't cover it xD.

So which one did you own? And how long did it run for? I have another close friend that co-owned a server, and he informed me all about the hassle of being a GM xD You can't really escape it wherever you go though. There's always customers out there that treat you like a doormat, rather than a human being |:
