I don't know if other programs have this but I did it in Ps, click the paint bucket tool with the right click and switch it to the gradient tool from the drop box that appears (1).
Next go to the drop box at the top bar where you can select which kind of gradient effect you want (2), I think the one I used was the rainbow one at the bottom left (3).
