Hehehehahaha. Forgiveness?, oh give me BREAK!. Do you really THINK that you can be FORGIVEN!. Do you THINK that just because the Spiret of your FIANCE or what ever the HELL she is to you, comes here and tells you that it was NOT your fault, that ALL of your SINS will be washed away!?.
YOU will NEVER be forgiven for the SINS you have committed!. Your HANDS will NEVER be clean of all that INNOCENT BLOOD THAT STAINS THEM!. YOU will ALWAYS and ONLY be, a Bloodthirsty MONSTER!. No matter how much you WANT to reach that LIGHT!. NO MATTER how much you try to CONTROL the BEAST!. You will never escape the DARKNESS inside you. So STOP trying to reach the LIGHT.

Critique: This piece has such outstanding and masterful detail put into the texture work of the deadfall tree trunk and the water underneath the figure in white, that everything else in this piece looks unfinished in comparison.
When you have so much black space in a picture, the level of detail is what draws the eye, and in this case the level of detail is being spent on background and framing elements and not the characters who are supposed to be the focus of the piece.
So while the bark and the water and much of the foliage are O U T S T A N D I N G... it feels like all the effort and detail and focus were spent on the wrong things.
(But golly that water and bark and foliage are heckin' beautiful. Damn.)
