Someone reposted one of my drawings on Twitter without giving me credit, and it went viral. By the time I saw it and requested credit, the person who posted gave it on a reply, but the crowd had moved on and I didn't get any benefit from that reposting.
But yeah, it also happens pretty often in this site and on DA, as the-b-meister illustrated.

It's a complicated thing, garnering renown. Something built on many years of cultivating relationships with your followers, clients, and other artists. It can be frustrating when things don't go the way you expect them to.
I still want to try this as a career, though. Even at this age, it's what I like to do.
