The black tends to happen when you upload a Transparant file bigger than 1280x1280. FA automatically resizes this and the transparancy is lost.
A way to get past this and upload Transparant/Bigger files is to press the "Change submission file" and re-upload the file. Should appear in it's full-sized transparant glory if you do.
