Bulda sighed softly in the sunlight, leaning back against her arm along the sand, laying against the towel softly as she grunted a bit and looked down at the Chu laying on her breast. She’d drifted off by this point, the soft ear scratches she was giving her sending her into a loopy stutter of bliss before finally getting her to drift off in the warm sun, the Blaziken chuckling softly making her chest rise and fall softly in a rhythm. The chu, Rei, was her name, hardly seemed to mind, her head nestled perfectly on top of the blazikens mounds, her tail twitching every so often along with her other ear, but otherwise remained undisturbed.

The last few days had been long, but fun days for them both. So many crazy adventures, so many firsts for the chu and for the burd. Hardly gotten out to the beach from her hotel before she saw her, riding the waves in her ‘other’ form, drawing a crowd and rightfully so, she was a natural, and for good reason! She couldn’t help but want to at least get a word with her, even just a few of admiration. But as soon as she did she seemed to catch the curious eyes of the chu, and she couldn’t help but want to learn more about this strange poke that was sparsely seen on the Alolan islands. What had been just a simple gesture of diving away from the crowds and getting her attention to chat on their own, had blossomed swiftly into a warm kinship. She wasn’t sure what it was, but she felt, relaxed around her, felt, at ease. That Bubbly smile was a genuine one, not trying to hide anything at all, and her curiosity with her, only seemed to prompt more questions that brought them closer. They learned about one another over some food and drink, had a ‘light’ sparring match, which she of course came out on top in, but it was close, very close, before they went to go see some of the chu’s most trusted locals for a bit of a reset in clothing. They then had fun at a festival held in honor of her winning the surfing competition yet again, and stayed for the after party where she may have gotten a littttle too ‘excited’ with the drinks handed out there, but she didn’t care.

She learned her little ‘secret’ the next morning, waking up to find her like this attop her bed, but at that point, it didn’t really seem to hardly matter. Her form wasn’t what made her at ease, though she did happen to ‘enjoy’ some of its aspects quite a bit, but it was her personality, her bubbiliness, her compassion and strong yet kind will that had her face melt whenever she looked at her. But not in the way your probably thinking, though she’d admit she wouldn’t be opposed to it, but in a different way. This chu, had become precious to her, the morning part of this day had cemented that fact. The way they went around shops, using her cuteness and Bulda’s firm looks to get a few various things from the kind locals, before coming out here and having great fun along the beach. She wanted to protect this, she wanted to keep this innocence. Sure she knew she wasn’t without heartache, sure she new Rei had been here most of her life to help fend off the constant attack against her kind from various malicious groups, but she had been winning. She had succeeded and continued to, she’d kept having fun, kept enjoying life, and she’d stayed a happy bundle of positive chu up to this point in her life. She wanted to protect it, she wanted help keep that smile on her face. She wanted to help keep her happy.

The Blaziken chuckled softly, looking up at the sky now as she grinned and continued to softly stroke at the chu’s ear idolly. Look at her, the big strong Blaziken with a heart of iron that gave no quarter in the face of anyone, melting away in the presence of such a small little poke. But she sighed, snickering softly once more as she looked down at the chu softly sleeping against her breasts. Her little ear twitched again, and she nuzzled softly a bit further into the mounds, her leg twitching a bit softly against her chest as she made a soft little ‘chu’ from her muzzle before settling back down. The Blazikens eyes softened completely, and she gave a soft chortle before laying back and closing her own, working on drifting off herself as she sighed, inwardly and outwardly.

Maybe it just took the right key, or chu, in this case, to break down that wall just enough to get her to weezle her way through. She wasn’t sure, but whatever ‘hole’ that chu created to weezle her way into her heart, she’d protect it. She’d make sure, to the best of her ability, that she’d never have to lose that smile. She’d be her great big sister, the one to protect her when she needed it herself. A great friend, and a strong shoulder for her to lean on, should she ever need it. She’d be what she didn’t even know she kind of wanted to be all along, a rock to help keep steady those she cares about. She’d be her rock, her flaming hot burd of a rock. And who knows, maybe Rei would return the favor to her some day, she was incredibly strong herself, despite the outward arguably fragile appearance. But, that is neither hear nor there. She made her happy, and from what Bulda could tell, Rei was happy with her as well. She’d see where this went, and be happy the cards of fate dealt them both a solid hand for once.

And as she finally leaned back and sank softly into her own dream world of her own in the midday sun, she thought, softly, I hope these weeks of vacation never end…

Bulda has developed a LOT thanks to that so i wanted to help show it in a pic, and even though they didn't really have the money when i commissioned this to join in (which i totally understand) i couldn't help but do it anyway >//> (though not any of the more 'flashy' scenes between the two but i mean this is just such an adorable sceene it worked just as welll ;3;). Was glad to hear he loves it as much as i do when i sent it over to him, and im just happy to have a little bit of a pic to look back on to remember the times these two have shared >//> (as we've been doing if that hasn't been apparent xD). Figured id do more of a 'recap' description above too just to grab the overhead of the various events, think im going to start doing that with these (assuming/in the hopes that they continue >///>). But anyway, back to the pic at hand, i love it ;3; i absolutely love it. Rei looks so friggen cute and it captures that rarely seen tender side of Bulda just perfectly. Its great to finally have a bit more of a 'tasteful' pic with her to >//> and i just couldn't wait to upload it. So frirgggenn cutttte ; 3 ;
