My baby needs to be fed every two hours, so between the feedings I worked on this. Probably took me a total of an hour and a half to work on but was completed over a two day period.
I don't have the energy or the time these days to work on a lot of art, but I did this because the stress of having a C section really put a damper on me and I needed a creative way to express my self through that grief. I had to reboot my computer too and lost my Adobe and Jasc because I forgot where I put the software boxes. Finally found them after 3 weeks or so of frustration and depression and this was the result of that.
Lot of mistakes but I really don't mind, I'm out of practice anyway and didn't put a lot of effort into this one just wanted to get the image out.

Saw this on the front page and knew it was your work. Good to see you're alive and able to put stress into creative form. I have heard about mothers who undergo C-section having worse postpartum depression that women who give birth naturally.

Hon - you went through a stressful labor after a stressful pregnancy. Take all the dang time in the world you need and know you're loved. Nica and I wish the very best for you and your family. Once you get on your feet, feel well, and maybe have some time [we know babies are serious business], Nica and I would love to commission you again. Once more, we understand there is a high responsibility and first-thing-first priority with your baby... So I stress to take all the time you need.
