Don't worry, the car's just fiiiiine...
Sorry this page took a little longer than usual, hopefully it's worth it. I've got lots of ideas about where to go next so it should be fun. And yes, I'm writing this more or less on the fly.

Well, phew! Seeing a classic bent up badly would have sucked, even if it is only a lowly Datsun/Nissan. (Sorry, my Toyota/Mitsubishi bias may be showing a bit!)
"Well no, I wouldn't say I've crashed it..."
Sorry Marcello, you may not say it is a crash as such, but this is still a crash. Minor for sure, but hitting a kerb like that under heavy braking is still going to do a number on those low profile tyres and rims if not take out some of the front suspension with it. Add to that that it would likely take out that lowered front skirt with a little more cosmetic damage following from the shrub impact and drop over. Compared to what could have been though... all I can say is either amazing skill or amazing luck... probably a bit from column A and a bit from column B.

Nope, MkIV's are a bit new for most of my collection. I'm more 70's Lancers (badged as Chryslers over here in Aus), EVOs, Pajeros, Corollas/Tercel, LandCruisers and Hilux. As much as the MkIV Supra was great, I just have not owned one while I either have or still do own one or more of the others I have listed. That said, if I had the chance to own either a R32, MkIV or a 3000GT it would be a tough decision to make... my Mitsi bias may make me choose the 3000GT but it would still be close.
(I must admit I do have a grey import '97 Legnum VR4 wagon which is way newer than most of my other cars but it was mainly bought for my brother to have a more fun car to drive Mum and her walker to her medical appointments.)

I was not quite sure which model you refer to as a 'Box Lancer' and I had to look them up, so if you were referring to the '81-onward Lancers then ours are too old. My brother and I have have 1974, '75 and '77 LA and LB model 4 door sedans, a 1975 LA 2 door, plus 1978 LB and 1980 LC hatches. We do have some cars that are very similar to the '81 on Lancers though, they are the larger locally built Sigmas that looked very similar to the '81 onward Lancers. We also have an '84 Scorpion which is a two door version and it was modified into a convertible in '87 so it stands out a bit.
Edit:- here's a link to some pics a bloke has already put online which he took of one of our unrestored '80 LC Hatches at one of our classic cars club meet up near home and the same bloke took some pics of the Scorpion at the same meet. (the soft top cover was yet to be restored at that time)
A few pics of the LC Hatch
A couple of pics of the Scorpion
