Sunset Sailor, with fur of fire and gold, and a well-seasoned sea farer's wit about him, this tiger knows what perils the beautiful ocean waves are capable of.
Here is the final result of my digital painting class final! This piece was so incredible to work on, I worked very hard on it and can surely say this is my best piece. Special thanks to my professor, David Vargo, who's an awesome teacher, and provided me with extreme praise and encouragement for my last in-class critique on this piece.
My teacher and my classmates offered me some teeny detail fixes and adjustments I could do on this piece, so some time this summer I will be going back in and cleaning things up some more and adding some small details and tweaks. I'll likely post that version up here again as well!
This piece will be going into my portfolio, and posted online under my other alias, in addition to RainbowFoxyArt. I have a few more pieces from this class that I feel are worth sharing, that I will be posting to Patreon, and onto my other account. I try to keep a degree of separation between both accounts, but I can always share things for you guys here on patreon ;)
The raw file is utterly massive, something like 9500 pixels on its long side. I will be posting a medium sized file for Fox tier patrons at a higher resolution to enjoy! This particular file is significantly downsized for web sharing and posting. Thank you for looking, and I really hope to make more paintings like this soon!

This ones even better than the last, dude holy shit!!!
You rendered it so well, but at the same time its not over-rendered and muddy (which is such an easy mistake to make)
You've gotten so good, dude! Looks like all of our pain and suffering at the hands of LCAD is finally paying off, huh? hahahah

thanks so much dude!! I got this one done before the other one! I just kept forgetting to put it in my gallery here and waiting for a good time, like a friday.
Since it was my final for class, it was very Extra. I am actually going to be doing a little more polishing on this during the summer before I officially slide it into my portfolio, since there's some things that can be tweaked a little bit. I have 2 other pieces from that class I really love, and want to touch up and use for a professional portfolio. Super stoked with how this came out and really wanna do more. I learned SO MUCH with my digital painting class with Vargo, he's been super positive and encouraging, too. hands down my fav class even though the workload made me want to die sometimes.
