Dylan was left to fend for himself from a young age until he was discovered by Honeysuckle after she was a newly evolved Vespiquen. Thank to her care and guidence, as well as being nursed on the royal honey she produced. Allowing him to grow big and strong at a rapid pace, as well as being the cause of his different coloration than that of a normal wormmon and stingmon.
