SEASON 2 IS OUTTTTTTTTTT OH YEAH
I binge watched it with my friend and it ended to quickly ;___;
Love it tho, the new characters were amazing and once again the character development was greatly well paced <3

Now I wait for the amazing fanarts to come and the inescapable ship war. imo Tadano is a good character, but Haida is still my favorite character and the perfect love interest for Retsuko. I wish we get many more seasons and Retsuko grow and experience life as much as she did this season, even if she doesn't end up with Haida (tho I think their life as a couple would be perfect for the type of comedy and story telling of this show)
As I told my friend, many shows that have romance in it make "who will the main character end up with?" their main point, but Aggretsuko is the type of show that could follow the simple ordinary life of a married couple and it'd still make exciting and interesting. Stable relationships aren't boring, and as much as I love to see Retsuko experiencing different types of romantic relationships, I hope the show either settles her with someone or make her "single&happy", so we can see other plots besides her search for a date.

Honestly I was both way too scared and furious at the same time with this character before his development, I thought I'd hate him forever but I'm ok with him now lmao

So after finally watching season two, I had to say it was pretty good. Some of the new characters they show were interesting. Setsuko mom is like every. Other in the planet, Anai being an odd one, and Tadano being my all time favorite. There was so much that was talking about relationship and marriage, which some people that tend to deal with. I would understand how she feel, trying to find the right one. Personally I was hoping that Tadano would have been a lazy back guy who work in computers. But made him a tony stark character was kind of took me of guard. Besides that, the second season was simply fantastic, and can't wait for season three
I too wasn't expecting Tadano to be like that! When he showed up, I honestly thought he'd just be the irresponsible type and Retsuko would end up breaking up with him after realizing he had no goals in life. I also really love Kabae's character development! I didn't like her at all during season one, but after the Christmas Special I got a bit emotional over her relationship with her kids and now I just love her hahaha
Also, what's your opinion on Ton (pig boss) ? I honestly really like him. He intentionally takes the villain role and acts shitty with everyone even after he showed he actually cares for his employees, and I'm very fond of this gray morality type of character :0

I actually like Ton, he is one of those characters you have to hate, but like the same time. There times that whenever he smiles, it make me want to laugh. But his gray morality in office life is similar to ones that been around his golden years. But I do some goodness in him, just not easy to show it. I'm still surprised that he have twin daughters. What your thoughts on the Anai cooking music scene?

And oh my god... Actually this may be weird, but I'm always kinda awkward at the singing scenes, even for Retsuko. I love the idea, but the singing in itself always kills me. Side note, but I always watch Aggretsuko with my best friend. Anai's scene was honestly such a weird experience, we both looked at each other like "oh no don't tell me he's gonna sing" and it was probably the biggest awkward/funny moment of the season lmao
Rewatching the scene now I think it's really nice tho, animation and music very well done! idk if you watched it in english tho because imo the dubbed version is WAY worse than the original one.
