He's still a young god and doesn't know how all this hormonal stuff works. All he knows is that when a big, tough buck waves around his big ol' rack, the ladies just flock to him. Should work the same for him, right?

'Course the only lady he attracted was Sanaa, and she had her own agenda. xD
