He's a pet fox that was purchased from a breeder.
I love him to death and wouldn't trade him for the world, but he is a HUGE pain. He combines the worst aspects of a cat, a dog, and a toddler.
Also, for foxes, the tail-up is generally a playful signal, not a dominant or aggressive one like it is in some other canines. this is more of an "I'm feeling ornery" body language than an "I'm upset".
