Dgirael created this nice lady. Who is she? And why is she associated with Baba Ptitsa And Doma Shnyaya?

In the original myth of Baba Yaga, the titular witch is (as an extreme simplification) a metaphor for apprenticeship, learning a new trade, the incomprehensible hurdles, the constant risk of failure that can drag into a (literal at the time) premature death both you and those around you. But also the rewards at the end. The new knowledge, which will help you. The new tricks learned via ingenuity in hardship. And the rewards that will elevate you above your enemies.

But my Baba Ptitsa, is radically different.

So i needed an antagonist.

Not a villain.

But an "opposite".

★ If Baba Ptitsa, with her clockwork hen house is a metaphor creation and darwinian selection of the incompetent ...
★ ... I needed a metaphor for what makes you grow and what takes care of the dead after they've died.

Therefore, i would like to present Chanterelle. She is death. She is nourishment. She is nurture.
