concept sketch for a painting. I don't tend to upload my rough sketches anywhere, but I decided what the heck..maybe it will be more incentive to actually follow through and paint it. The painting would be set in a wintery scene, somewhat dreamy..lots of blues and whites In the background there would be an opaque larger dreamcatcher web etched against the background. I'm debating what colors I want the wolf to be..tempted to paint him white..but also tempted to go with lighter gray wolf markings and give him a soft golden glow.
The sketch didn't fit on the page, thus why the claws on the paw are cut off a bit.
Suggestions and ideas are welcome.

I MUST learn how you artist's like you, Kyoht and GoldenWolf are able to draw such wonderfully feral handpaws on your canine critters. =3
This development sketch is in keeping with your always high standards and I very much look forward to the finished article once it's been painted... with the wolf's fur being a soft gray/silver IMO. :)

this sketch is really beautiful done and I can allready see how the finished result will look like in my mind! ^_^ your work!:D
just a lil thing, I would try to draw the ellbow/arm (the one where the owl is sitting on) a bit shorter (try to let it flow above the other (or something like that))
because now that arm looks alot longer then the arm in front, with his/her back turned like that..
i'm not sure if you wanted this or read it...so..just ignore it then:D

Very nice! But that's gotta be a biiiig wolfy for the snowy owl to be that small. :) One of my favorite birds of prey; love seeing them in art.
The only other thing that bothers me (and just a little bit) is the wolf's grin in relation to the eye and cheek skin... I don't know if it seems too close or what but it looks a little unnatural.
Tiny nitpicks, lol. I look forward to seeing this in completion! I really like the idea of the goldeny glow too, especially with the blue it would make things really "pop."
