Here she is at long last!

This plush was one of the first 3 plushies I ever made during my kickstarter a couple months ago, and she was commissioned by blackdragonart98 over on DA.
I learned SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH with this plush in particular.

Kuro was a special challenge for the complexity of her design.

Her markings and tattered wings proved to by the biggest struggle, but I'm so happy with the way it turned out. All her markings were 100% hand-sewn to maximum the clearness of their design, as well as the crisp edges on them. This is definitely something I will do with all of my future plushies. It definitely takes longer, but the results speak for themselves. :D
And since Kuro was one of the kickstarters, I tried a couple experimental techniques with her. Such as the posable wings, extra long tail, and removable jewelry.
I also made her eyes glow in the dark with some special UV reactive paint.


I had a load of fun, as well as struggles with making this plush, but I am incredibly pleased with the end result.
