This... this has been in WIP hell for well over a year now... But it's finally done.. OTL ... I gotta call it done or I'll just keep rendering it forever...
If you're familiar with my original story (EUTS) you may remember these characters from the final panel of The Underground intro comic just before it switches scenes to Muora's club, or if you've already read The Underground chapter I posted early last year on deviantART:

An insane amount of hours have been put into this... I've been working on it off and on in between various projects, life meltdowns, and commissions and it's probably the biggest illustration I've ever actually *completed* - my streaming buddies will tell you that I've started (and gotten pretty darn far on) all kinds of ambitiously large projects that have never seen it to completion because of the massive burnout they tend to cause. ProTip: It will always take longer than you think it will.
But as always, it was a learning experience and definitely worth it to see it finally completed.
Despite all that, I knew going in that it wasn't gonna be a project most would necessarily care about - the Argala (or Gale and Tes in general) aren't as popular as my other EUTS characters, but I love 'em all the same and just really enjoy drawing out specific scene type illustrations - I want to tell stories with my art/characters and showcasing character interactions is one of my fav types of drawings - to show a character's personalty through their body language and interactions with others, and see the contrast of their differences (both physical and personal) alongside others, especially those that have drastic contrasts with one another.
Not all of these characters here have official names (mostly nicknames) but from left to right: Graffiti Artist, Gale, Cesr, Heather, Druggie, and Miss Spunky (Falcon was thinking of naming her Trista though I wasn't sure if I preferred that name for Tes' girlfriend instead).
There is.. one character missing though. How curious.
When I get a chance I'll assemble close ups of these guys + some of the old ass concept art from around 2011 I did of their character designs and the real old concept sketch of Gale and Cesr this entire scene was based on and share it on my twitter.
Other than that, I'll be finishing up a thing or two in the meantime and should have a surprise very soon.
[Story excerpt - Chapter 21: The Underground]
"It's Neelix, isn't it." He asked her.
She rubbed her thumbs together anxiously then looked up at him, "You still haven't answered my question."
"And now you're avoiding mine."
She stared at him for a moment, as if trying to gauge his intentions, before finally answering him. "It's complicated..."
"Well.. so is my relationship with Tes."
"You're intentionally not answering my question because I wont answer yo-" Heather didn't get to finish.
"So Gale, you finally got yourself a girl." Someone's voice cut through the music, startling the two of them. Heather looked around and counted a total of five strangers emerge from the crowd, who causally made themselves at home around their table; sitting, standing, and leaning around them. The sick sensation within her stomach quickly lurched up again; their intrusive behavior made her highly uncomfortable.
"N-no, just a friend." Gale said nervously. Heather didn't like how Gale seemed uneasy about their presence. He and Tes were her only safety net in this place, if anything happened.. if he couldn't keep her safe...
"She's pretty cute. Never seen her kind before. If you two are just friends... you wont mind if I dance with her?" One of the strangers, an Argala male wearing a strange metallic visor over his eyes, leaned in close against the table towards Heather with a coy smile. Heather looked right up at Gale with a pleading look on her face to not leave her alone with this guy.
"Uh.. umm... " Gale stuttered as he was placed in an extremely awkward predicament.
"And you can dance with me.." A second male Argala spoke with an alluring tone right into Gale's ear as he leaned over from behind their seat, which forced Heather aside. Gale shivered and shrugged his shoulder as he leaned away from the stranger.
"I told you I'm not interested, Cesr..." Gale managed to say.
"That isn't what you said the other night.." Cesr boasted in response."
