This is also another revamped photomanipulation originally created back in 2005 for
Lance_Foxx
I was going for an anthropomorphic wolf version of him with some subtle human qualities (i.e. human lips, human neck). I was happy with the detail put into it but dissatisified with the overall look due to the lighting (the photomanipulation looked flat with no realistic dimension) and the background which was originally taken against a sheet.
Since I've already revamped a few works for this new gallery, I decided to go back and give this one a much needed touchup too. Going for a moonlit night aesthetic (with full moon provided from a photograph taken by DA user Hecatemel), this photomanipulation now has the life I originally wanted to give it.
The wonders of revisiting one's work, no? ;)

I use multiple programs.
For doing the patchwork/fur strokes, I use Paint Shop Pro. For liquifying the subject in the picture and stretching limbs (i.e. mouth into muzzle), I use Photoshop (however, it was not used for this particular manipulation). For morphing/creating a rough hybrid base to work off of, I use Sqirlz Morph and get a screen capture. And now that I have video editing equipment, I used Sony Vegas Movie Studio Pro 8 for fixing the lighting.
