So this is another thing from last year which I just finished now. Back in October, I was in the LuigI/O chat as usual and this happened (link). So naturally I was inspired, and sketched out some snakies. I even got as far as starting the colouring (link).

I wasn't happy with it though, so I kind of left it there... for so long that nobody in that screenshot has the same appearance now as they did then. I of course changed my name and picture, and Adis has too. Only n1fffan has the same name now, and even then he changed his pic from the Moogle art from Mario Hoops 3-on-3, to an Ivalician Moogle.

The other day, though, I was trying to clean up my DeviantArt folder a bit, and came across these sketches. And I thought, hey, these still look pretty decent, so I'mma try to figure out some better colours! And, with a little help from colormind.io (I didn't stick to it that closely, but it gave me some pointers), I figured out a colour scheme I was happier with. The initial idea with the markings had been to make it all geometric and give her a triangle motif, and I wasn't sure where to take it. But when I came back to it the other day, I decided that maybe I was on the right track after all. And yeah, I ended up just rolling with what I had already done, and I feel like it's alright. She's pretty cute either way, but unlike tattoo lizard girl I don't feel compelled to draw Amalie again. Incidentally, the other day I decided to name her (i.e. tattoo lizard girl) Sammi.
