Dragon Quest is always relevant, right down to Smash.

My favorite song is definitely Maya and Meena’s overworld music, The Gypsies' Journey. : )

I always found it odd that they get their own battle theme too, but damn is it good!

Personally, I think DQIV has the best ost.

Definitly Mt. Krakatodra's theme from Dragon Quest Heros: Rocket Slime. Big cute dragons, lots of creepy stuff, all around awesome~

I had a feeling you’d be happy when they revealed the DQ hero to be in smash. I think it’s pretty cool that they finally added them, otherwise good work on this cute little DQ styled avatar.

Hell yeah, after Bomberman, a Dragon Quest hero was my most wanted newcomer because I love the series and feel it deserves to be represented with how big of a legacy it has.

Punch Wizard is an incredible name for Alena, I love it!

And I personally find the Dream World theme from DQVI to be one of the most relaxing songs around, really really good for rainy days.

Dragon Quest has so much good music, I'm hoping we get more than two songs in Smash.

Sadly I didn't come up with it, it was in a YouTube comment somewhere making a joke about her clothes/punching being her magic, russian accent and such
And considering there's 4 reps there'll probably be at least 4 songs, maybe some medleys

As for music, I always enjoyed the overture theme (specifically XI's), since it perfectly captures the sense of adventure and wonder for the game!

I personally believe the Dragon Quest overture is one of the most iconic anthems in all of gaming. It's such a powerful and beautiful song, and I'm glad more people got to experience it thanks to the reveal trailer for Smash.
