And then our little dragon grew up! ... Maybe a bit too quickly... And muchly. Dragons just can't help but leave destruction wherever they go. Whether they want to or not...
Sudden, unexpected size-shifting sequences have always been some of my favorites. The look of worry, confusion, or annoyance on characters changing beyond their control is endlessly amusing to me. People have pestered me for years to try my hand at some macro/destruction art and to do said art with my big green doofy dragon here. So, here it is! Neos' official very first macro outing! I get the feeling he wasn't as ready for it as some others might have been...
I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out. This was some nice practice with not only placing a character in a more unusual position than I'm used to, but also trying my hand at drawing debris. Trying to figure out how a house would look like if it was slowly exploded from the inside by a growing dragon was an interesting task. But, a fun one! Realistically there should also be all sorts of debris and ground up Earth to the sides, but sometimes more is better, and I didn't want to clutter things up too much. At least not on my first attempt at doing this.
Also, this month is apparently "Kaijune." So, I had to get something giant and destructiony out there!
I hope you all enjoy the dragon-growing destruction! ^.=.^
