I still don't believe she's saying all this on an open mike to the entire audiance after her boss tried so much to establish that they were the good guys now it sounds like they tricked and entrapped someone trying to return to the audiance and tricked an used a newbie innocence as a sacrificial lamb just to humiliate cookie. The Audiance is going to start booking her and cheering for Cookie's team.

Not really because at the end of the day Cookie really did bribe another team for an easy win with audio proof. While Cookie may be more sympathetic (for now) she still does underhaned things.

Even if he bought her debt after she aquired the loan he indirectly supported her 'crime'

Or at least someone could spin it that way. Of course you could just as well spin it the other way around and say he wanted to stop her once and for all...
aaand you could conterargue that he conned the entrace fee from the audience by not going public before the match.

Depending how quick Cookie is, she still can turn this around. At least in the court of public opinion. Which is why I believe a part of all this is to keep Cookie off-balance.

Nyarai

Double Agent she is!

Nyarai's hold on Muko in the second panel is so hypnotic, pretty much showing her assets and Muko's to the viewers. Also, nice internal reveal, as while we knew that she worked at Club Nighthawk in chapter 6, Cookie only knew that she worked at Club Diamond throughout the previous chapters, which foreshadowed her betrayal. Overall, this is also a display of Cookie's incompetence as she didn't bother to do research on one of her Combagals in spite of the numerous betrayals she endured and Nyarai constantly making it clear that she was going to leave her someday. From the looks of Cookie's perspective in previous chapters, her incompetence regarding Nyarai is either blind optimism similar to Muko or sheer desperation that prevents her to think things through.

teah. Forgetting to double check Nyarai's past and background is just yet another failure in Cookie's wrestling managing career. She just can't do anything right

Dudenplease a sudden whoopass would ruin the rythm of the story so far, she need her comeuppance mostly for her viciouness(albeit i understand her motive on some level) . More sense would be Mulo givi g soem semblance of fight, enough to show she is not just a punching bag shaped like a sexy bunny but not enough to defeat Nuarai, not at this time, but will kind of shock her, probably enoug to go full on murderous way, but being stopped by Shun homself, not for mercy but for other reason(killling on ring is bad move...) then we got Peki vs Adelgund and that would be as much interesting as this match.resuming, good fight yes, Nyarai defeat veeerry un.ikley AT THIS TIME OF MUKO CARREEER. Clear?

Good, also is it me or does she remind me of Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender (if you never seen it, I highly recommend it)

Cookie has much trouble being a good wrestling manager. She bribed. She dealt with loan sharks,. She sticks a ditzy lady with little combagal training into fights against any better judgement,. She then let in unknowingly let a club hostess of a crime boss as her other combagal without double-checking out her true background. She was too often too hopeful that these two would help spring her career around despite the reality about them. She was invovled in some terrible incident that ruined her careeer the first tiem, which led to her previous combagals to be also hostess/combagals for the same crime boss of the second combagal. The door is opening more and more into how poor Cookie is terrible at being a combagal manager.

I have to admit that that's an excellent way to frame ans show off the hot butts of both Nyarai and Muko while still in Nyarai's own hold. Which makes me feel conflicted though. Bioth Muko and Nyarai have such wonderful buttcheeks and breasts. Too bad that they are now enemies in a fight to the death now.

Yeah Cookie has let her own dream blind her to the reality of the situation( in some way mirroring Muko). She hasn't an exceptional record as manager, she can't really judge people's very well even if things are kind of obvious( seriously her nyarai do point out that Cookie did not bothered to check where her cobagals is actually working . Even considering the hostility shown toward her(really te face heel turn if Nyarai surprise no fucking one!).
And then ther eis the lingering suspect that she did not cared about the health of her past protegee as well. Many things hint about that. I do wonder what is going to happen now.

That is a ggod observation. While these ladies -- Muko and Cookie -- are different in a number of ways, they are similar that they want to make it big the world of combagal wrestling. but in their own way their visions of how to go about it don;t line in with the reality of things, as you had said. Also when they both together try to go do what they want to do based on their unrealistic expectations/dreams, it ends in disaster.
