The band was largely forgotten to time aside from a few members of the band who went on to join more famous bands. The most notable member was Lionel Hampton. Lionel became quite famous when he played vibraphone in Benny Goodman's Quartet. He set the standard for jazz arrangement by introducing what was considered at the time a novelty instrument, which now, is practically inseparable from the genre.
