My second Shadowlocke Pokemon. However, these guys are also versatile enough to be put into basically any scenario much like all my characters, so if you're interested in seeing them in something in particular just let me know ;) I really adore the style I drew this guys in. Since Nidoran are kinda bunny-like I wanted to make him look like a certain famous rabbit from which he gets his namesake.

Backstory:
Abandoned by his trainer who used him as Pokedex fodder once he was evolved, Woundwort found himself in a strange, unfamiliar region with a fraction of the moves a proud Nidoking would normally have known.
Had a very hard time in Issho in general. As a low-level Nidoking he could not defend himself well and ended up losing quite a few battles.

After a rather serious one with a Scyther that left him blind in his right eye, he vowed to become stronger. He decided that it was his fear and compassion that was holding him back. He closed his heart to all fear and love, and became ruthless.

Though normally not one to bother anyone unless he himself was bothered, he found himself targeted by many trainers due to his unique coloring. Of course, none of these trainers could best him. Many didn't come near him. Woundwort settled in a small area outside of Union City near the mining quarry, becoming feared by all who ventured too close.

He was cruel to other Pokemon around, though was not without some sympathy for those who were hurt and needed help. He was an odd sort, and none could tell if he was a ruthless dictator or tough guy with a heart of gold.
Finally, one day Georgia ventured too close, and Woundwort attacked her. This proved to be a mistake, as Cassius immediately leapt to his trainer's rescue. The skilled Absol proved to be too much for the Nidoking with no proper moves, and Georgia tossed a Pokeball without thinking.

Woundwort is a quiet Nidoking who rarely talks, but Georgia is compassionate and saw to it that his bad eye was taken care of, so he supposes being with her isn't all bad.
