Toon Tropes: Weight Gain
One common gag that happens in cartoons is characters gaining weight. The amount of food they eat as well as the size of their belly sometimes feels exaggerated. But I still love to see animals with big bellies. I enjoy it even more when their bellybuttons get on display. This trope is viewed as sexual to some, because the bellies almost look pregnant.
