This was a commission I did a few months ago, inspired by something mentioned in the title. My usual dreams consist of my house being infested by bugs, mostly due to my fears of infestation. That or watching a fictional movie about a woman being slowly eaten to death by bugs and spiders... ick!

But very rarely do I have dreams based on pleasant things, such as this guy. I'm sure the dream was inspired by a friend of mine I know on one of my discord groups. He's just a normal person who happens to be a merman, having the ability to transform in and out. Special and not really all that special at the same time.

I did come up with a name for him, but I think its better, at least for now, to keep his name anonymous. I also took some inspiration from my friend  Seif as well, being inspired by his Blue Jay color scheme!
