Some quick game music, meant for a puzzle type of game... relaxed during parts and other parts puts the pressure on a bit... so I suppose kind of like solving a Rubik's cube with someone looking over your shoulder? Feedback appreciated.

Awesome stuff - you definitely put more intellectual stuff into your pieces than I have ever managed to do -.-
I love how you utilized syncopation to just nudge the feel of the piece in certain directions, especially in the piano part throughout the piece and the strings at the end.
Is this for an actual game project? You used such an Earth colored palette that I wonder what kind of puzzle game this might be. To me it doesn't seem like just your average block sorting game.
What program did you use with this?

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the touches I put in! I used Garritan Personal Orchestra and Logic instruments, and as I usuall do sequenced/recorded it in Logic. I was playing a frustrating little game called Spin The Black Circle 2 when I write this, the setting in the game is perhaps a bit earthy... everything is like made out of rusted metal. :p That's interesting you picked up on that, I didn't notice when I put that in but I hear it now!
Sorry- I really tried hard to provide critique as hard as possible ^^;;
around 0:25 the orchestra seems to overpower the kit n other stuff just a tad during the crescendo, but it gets back to normal afterwards x3
around 0:45 the kit seems a little too quiet, especially the snare
other than that, which I tried to be as hard as possible to come up with, its overall an amazing job x3

Thanks so much! You are right, the drum does get a little swept under in those spots, you have good ears to hear that! I am probably less bothered than that than other composers, I like things getting washed over and then reappearing.. it gives the music kind of a kaleidoscopic feel... but sometimes it can be partly just an excuse for laziness... :p
