I don't think I can improve on this classic Looney Tunes joke.
It's one of those things that, as a kid, I might chuckle at (because it follows a big visual gag) but never fully get, but today, I can appreciate it as a quality Dad joke. :)

Oh, yeah. This was also used in a Bugs Bunny cartoon. I remember that Bugs was standing on a platform and Yosemite Sam was sawing the platform to make Bugs fall into a tub of water. When Sam finished cutting the board, everything fell except Bugs. Bugs looks at the camera and says, "Yeah, I know. It defies the Law of Gravity but, I never studied law."
Yay for Bugs Bunny! He's been sort of a hero of mine ever since I was a little kid. He's quick witted, friendly and loving, and very forgiving up to a point but after that he don't take no shit and teaches a lesson to those who try to hurt him, he's protective and helpful to those who need it, and of course he's cute as could be.
