Alex Toth, that man could seriously make anything work. Kirby had that "I'll turn Hello Kitty into Hello Hulk!" style.

Nice work! Why does this guy look so familiar? Has a bit of Oddworldness to him, though that came years later...

The familiarity just may have been because i was borrowing design tropes from all over American comics at the time.
