its a lovely pic but having the ribbon in the front implies that she's a prostitute... or so i've heard anyways

Hm, I'll keep that in mind in future designs!

yeah, usually the ribbon is kind of what holds the kimono together and its usually tied in the back, making it slightly inconvenient to undo and undress. because of that, prostitutes started having the ribbon in the front which allowed them to faster undress and redress because undressing time is obviously something important for a prostitute :-P and because of that, a ribbon in the front is often associate with... well, prostitutes XD

that's the lore/history behind it though while I am a big fan of japan and japanese history and culture, i am by no means an expert so take that with a grain of salt
