my brother stopped by to get our effing old windows 98 gateway computer to see if he can salvage our old photos off it (it only uses floppy disks and it takes half an hour for it to warm up to even use) and to use the bathroom...
my sister and i made a batch of cookies...(and tempura shrimp)

in my family xmas seems to just die after you get to old for santa :/
even then it was never a real big deal, just close family comming over to hang out and my brothers farting at dinner and thinking it is funny.
hell thanksgiving gets more attention in this family, even if we had tri tip instead of turkey.

It's how I spent mine! ...Well okay its more of a mutt but it's still a dog. Got my head almost completed in one night and I hope to finish the rest today.

I made a wolf tail :D and completed my Unicorn-Hand-Hooves XDD

Only difference is it was a present to myself, as opposed to a project for someone else!

I also ate at a Waffle House because i forgot to get Christmas Dinner and it was the only thing open XD

xmas kinda sucks when you don't really celebrate. i mean, everything is closed so i cannot go about my day as if it were normal, and of course i decided to get fur samples and other on-line supplies on xmas too and i bet those orders will take longer to process because of the holiday.

I completely agree. I haven't seen my family (whom im not astranged from or anything.. just, across the country from) since 2004, and every Christmas that passes i get really Scrooge-y because all i remember is how much i loved it growing up, and how much being grown up sucks (at times)

I also am the Lodge Manager at a Hunt Lodge/Nature Resort and all i do is cater to the rich and clean up after them.. that also took the Christmas Spirit right out of me (this -really- isn't the right line of work for me but i can't do much about it at the moment XD)

I honestly feel like i've started my midlife crisis at 23 years old. 23 is half of 46.. so i don't think i've got much longer to live XD

But! All that being said! I've still tried to find the good through all this and things to be thankful for and goals to live up to ^^ Trying to find pleasure every day has really kept my spirits high!

Is it supposed to blink at me?
