Okay, surely this blood and stuff is enough for it to be "mature", but not 18-year-old mature. So yeah, no mature rating. It is intended for a high school audience. (The contest had Elementary, Middle, and High School sections.)
... It was later that I realized my design was much too, ah, violent for their tastes. The judges must not have been thinking about appealing to, well, more mature audiences. The poster that won this time was really boring (no offense to the artist). Was orange with a little grungy red text and had a shadowy black figure with a magnifying glass, not saying any more than the required "Campus Crime Stoppers" and the phone number. I guessed that, in my original posting of this on dA, that art from my teacher's classes would win. And of course, one did. In fact, five of the seven placers (i.e. top 2 and honorable mentions) were from the school I go to.
