As much as I'm into Muko, I nonetheless knew that this would happen. Indeed, as bad as all of this is for Muko, as least there's this silver lining that she should begin to see that everything about the combagal sport isn't all sugary sexy fun and games as she thought before, despite the fanservice. These girls are tough and skilled as much as they are pretty.
Never thought Nyarai was into punching. Now I'm curious if what she's telling Cookie is going to show another side of her to break Muko's faith on her or mainly her own perception of Cookie. From what we've seen of Cookie, she does care for Muko and her former clients (giving the former a pep-talk and being saddened upon seeing the latter with Shun) so we're not sure how much of what Nyarai is saying about her is true.
Even though that looks like a really hard hit, a punch to the gut isn't against standard professional wrestling rules. So far everything she has done to Muko up to this point had been well within the typical rules, though it doesnt look like she had been pulling any of them back to keep from doing massive pain.
Oh no see i get that the moves are scripted so that the opponent doesn't get hit full force, I've been watching wrestling shows since i was a little kid. But that doesn't stop the fact that some wrestlers are fairly stiff in their movements and end up making more contact with the other person to make the move look much harder than it is. The ref could be viewing this as her being a bit more stiff than she usually is and Muko just overselling the hit ((i mean look how she acted when she got swung a while back. Ref didn't know that she had stuff whispered in her ear that scared the daylights out of her)).
I could see the ref stepping in like he's going to chastize her and tell her that she needs ro lighten up her hits, seen plenty of refs do that after a few punches that looked harder than they should have been. Idk what exactly the rules are in this world's wrestling , but if they follow the ones in our established world then Nyarai is treading a thin line that could get her reprimanded later after the match. While distasteful, whe has been following said rules rather cautiously so she doesnt get disqualified from the matchh

Was never meant to be a strong excuse in the first place. It was merely supposed to be an explanation of "Hey i know the moves are staged but this is how the ref could be viewing this", because we as an outsode viewer get alot more context whats going on between them. I still need to read all the way through and see of Nyarai has been shown this vicious before, if it's mentioned how she is in the ring, or anything other than what she did to that dude at the club.
Something very well could be done backstage or Nyarai could get her own form of comeuppance by another wrestler jacking her up like she is doing to Muko. All i was saying is that this is how the people in the comic could see it given how it has been shown. Part of this feels like a conversation i had with my brother in law not too long ago oddly enough
