UM. I NEVER SUBMITTED THIS HERE? WTF?

So firstly, I did this short quickly-done comic experiment back in, I think, January. It serves as an introduction to everything relevant for the premise of my Survived!Dad!Arpeggio AU. The sum of which, is that Arpeggio, after not only surviving the downfall of his master villainous plan, but also after thinking it was a brilliant idea to clone his deceased protege Neyla, fled Europe with his assistant and friend Jeremy, where they assumed new identities in a small rural town in Texas. Because who would find a world-renowned aristocratic criminal in such a place? There the two raised Neyla as their child while trying to keep themselves out of trouble, partially thanks to the kind-hearted albeit morally grey sheriff Hogarty, fondly nicknamed "Hodge". Neyla was unaware she was a clone up to this point in time, and has yet to figure out all the details, but has begun to be suspicions upon learning her dad is not, in fact, who he claims to be.

Jeremy also has a fake name (Jacob Lenny) but for some reason I just prefer to call him Jeremy anyway. I think canonically Arpeggio is just an idiot and kept calling him Jeremy around Neyla so she grew up calling him that too, but when in public he goes by his alter-identity.

"Arthur" has become popular in Yellow Pass due to his engineering skills helping bring the run-down town into shape. He may or may not also be doing a lot of sketchy secret inventing for equally shady people on the side. Sometimes it's hard to stop being a villain, even during fatherhood.


Anyway, this is wholesome and is still my favorite AU. Enjoy it and sorry it took me so long to upload it!
