With the prohibition of alcohol in Bastion even the gods themselves must go to speakeasies to find some hooch from the local moonshiners. Raucous gambling dens and Jazz clubs these illegal bars swiftly became more than just illegal tap houses. They became centers of a burgeoning counterculture that sought to shrug off the confines of the victorian age. Women danced, wore short dresses and shorter hair, they smoked, and of course they drank. These women would in time become known as " Flappers " and they became the symbol for freedom in Bastion.

So of course it's not surprising that we see the Goddesses of Coyote and Frog both taking up the lifestyle. A surprising friendship to be sure, a nature goddess of the First Nations and a great spirit of the Consortium Zodiac. But these are strange days we live in. These Roaring 20's.
