And it's finished a nice new portrait of Xaniras that turned out pretty nicely. Though I'm gonna need better brushes for GIMP for a good digital painted look in terms of stroke properties. This started as a Digital Sketch that was lined using the pathways tool and touched up with the brush and erase tools. The colors, rendering, flame FX, and texturing were done via the pathways and later brush tool. With gradient, erase, and smudge tools being used for touch up.

Bio:
An Aristocrat trained since a young age along side her sister "Sarina Phantom" by their mother "Silvia Phantom" and a member of her family's guild "Lumina". Xaniras is a skilled Caster who specializes in fire spells and attacks. A calm young woman with an obsession for fire, she spends her free time studying to fine tune her skills. Focusing on defensive tactics centered around the nature of Fire. To make up for not being as agile as her sister. Trying her best to live up to her mother's expectations. Xaniras is also able to teleport short distances to spots she's familiar with. A rare and difficult spell to learn. Her weapon of choice is "Crimson Heart", a Odachi Sword used primarily for spells. Although she is capable of attacking with it normally or as a heat blade.

Personality Tropes:
At her best she's Reasonable and very knowledgeable. Willing to help out whenever she can. At her worst she has a tendency to be too dependent on fire, and bossy towards others when on duty. Usually she's very distant, prefers reading books and stories over spending time with others.
