I find it a bit disconcerting being fascinating by Nazi regalia and their delicious uniforms; people get into such tizzy's when you admit to admiring their uniforms.

Can I just come live in your uncle's house then? ♥ I've just had this fascination for such a long while, it's quite sad when I get bitched out by someone for admiring their sense of fashion. It's like 'look, I don't like what they did or what they stood for, but who can argue with boots like those and such kick ass wardrobes?'

I know the feeling: there is something very sleek, debonair and charming about their sense of fashion: looking at a SS Officer's Uniform, you can feel it just OOZING with sinister charm.

The same goes for things generally associated with Nazis: the Luger, Wilheim Wagner, GERMANY; you have any passion for any of them, you're a goose-stepping Nazi scumbag

I once asked my Uncle why he collected Nazi Memorabilia; he told me there was a famous rabbi from Prague who wore SS Boots and when people asked him why, he'd say "so I can stomp out their memory and at the same time, never forget what transpired: it is a duel fulfilling concept to both eradicate the pain and to never let ourselves repeat what happened."

Hitler was a monster, a man I'd love to dropkick into a ditch but you got to admit....he sure had a good sense of taste in clothing.

Ok...I hate to say it...and I usually never say anything about anything of this matter? But Nazi uniforms are the shit.

Also, on the topic of the swastika? Everyone in German class has to make some German food, so my best friend made swastika shaped cookies and got a huge trouble xD But go figure we were allowed to eat the cookies. I literally have swastika inside me! : D

Yeah, I gotta agree with everyone else. Nazi Germany was terrible and there were horrific things that happened to those poor souls. Nothing about the time or regime or treatment of the people by the Germans should be admired.

But the uniforms are fucking awesome.

I swear, some things are going to be "Too Soon" for thousands of years, this being one of them. Granted Hitler's reign was one of the worst things this world has ever seen, but still.
