He's leaving.
I kind of figured this would happen at some point, I just didn't imagine it would be THIS soon.
I can't explain how everything happened. Some weird Koopa showed up and tried to hurt him, so I tried to handle the situation...but guess I'm a bit rusty...
...rusty from what?
...anyway, I don't know what happened next. I heard some big bang, and when I woke up, the trespasser was knocked out and...I think...I think HE did it.
But how? He's not even out of diapers yet! Well, maybe he should be, I don't know how it works for them, and he did tell me he kind of liked....

He was out for a long while, but ok. Said it would be dangerous for me and everyone in the village if he stayed. I told him it was nonsense, but...he spoke kind of...differently to me. Someone more confident or something. It was weird, I saw him saying the words, could see it was him...but what he was saying was like somebody else was edging him on to the decision...
Maybe it was just responsibility kicking in. Dang. I taught that didn't I?
I thought to go with him...but he said I should stay. Said as long as I was ok, he would be. Not that that made much sense now, but at the time, it got to me.
He may look like a child, act like it too, but if this is his decision I....
