This is a LONG over due project for a Dragon, 
Sarcosis_Machina waited a good long time for this wrap, and many more are to come his way in the coming weeks.,
the stone is a very interesting Ammonite, the stone itself just needed to feel outstanding, i like all stones, and ammonites lie this are rare, more stone than gem but still i was happy to oblige, i wanted to keep the look simple but still stunning to some aspect, so i set the wires to emphasize the natural shape of the stone rather than cover it up. i think it turned out rather well. i hope the bearer enjoys it. in fact the stone seems to feel happier now that i look at it.
Ammonite a very special stone, as many of you may already know ammonite is a kind of fossil, Ammonite is said to bear a kind of insightful energy, the kind that allows one to focus and retain the whole picture of ones intent.
its also known to bare a protective energy that more so resemblles the need to find stability and structure in ones life by transforming negative energy into a smoother flowing like energy.
Some even believe that fossils of this type are good for recollection, from past events memories , even past lives, and gaining the knowledge from those old eras..yet one must also be away of the world they live in now and who they are in the now, so as to not fall into past regrets and longings.

your workmanship looks even better in this image then in the pre-cursor one you showed me earlier. before, he seemed to have a displaced mindset about him. now more then ever though, I can tell that he feels like his good old self again, regal and proud. Thank you so much for doing this both for him and me.
i guess i had to just let the work sit with me for a while, but now that i think on it, and just let it rest, i see this as one of my crowning achievements, he was the first successful wire wrap with the new lessons i learned and ambition i gained. in short prolly one of my favorite pieces.
I'm somewhat reminded of a life lesson I learned a while back when you mentioned letting things just sit for a while. guess it just goes to show that occasionally you need to be like a stewpot on the hearth. kick back, take it slow and easy, stirr occasionally just to mix things up, and everything will come out well in the end. I'm glad that you enjoyed working on the piece. it really shows through in the workmanship you've done.
