So I read twilight last year. I could barely get through it, seeing how appalingly boring and badly written it is. The characters are flat and unappealing, the plot rife with clichés (and essencially Underworld, but whinyer.) and also, it makes teenagers idolize abusive relationships.
My friend (who ADORES twilight) made me read it again, seeing as I clearly "don't understand" the depth of the characters and the beauty of Smeyer's (horrifically purple) prose.
SO I DID. SHIT STILL SUCKS.
