Breathing some fresh air into an old random story I had came up with after winning an auction for this character: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21185798/ It was gonna be a supernatural western, but it never stuck. UNTIL NOW!

Deadslinger(orange guy) is still around, but he's the sheriff of a monster town~ ;3
Dray is the sheriff of a little town called Nowhere. Dray is... human. That's it. There's nothing supernatural about him. His father is black and his mother was native american. He was taught how to hunt, horse ride, and gun sling at a young age. His parents are still living in a nice little cabin in the woods to this day but Dray wanted more so he headed out at the age of 18. He began bounty hunting and keeping the peace between the humans and supernatural creatures. He doesn't fuck with demons tho, his face is the result of his first encounter with one. Demons give him the willies! He didn't end up in Nowhere until he hit his 30s and that's when he met Bucky too! Nowhere is a strange town that attracts monsters of all shapes and sizes. So it attracts a lot of outlaws too. Dray decided this was the perfect place to stay since the bad guys come to him. Eventually the mayor appointed him sheriff since he was taking down so many baddies.
His relationship with Bucky is strange. Dray comes off as a cold hard ass that likes keeping the peace, but when it comes to Bucky he gives him lots of pets and treats! Bucky helped him out when he first got to Nowhere so he has an attraction to him... hmmm~ 👀
