Little sketch of one of the cats I rehomed recently.
He was extraordinarily smart and had a serious work ethic, he often reminded me of a Border Collie. Every day he would patrol the house multiple times, searching the perimeter of every room very carefully for intruding pests. No knick-knack or delicate trinket was safe from his watchful gaze (and feet.) He would also leap into my arms to say hello every time I came home (I started bringing my leather jacket everywhere just to put on before I walked in the door), and he needed constant validation and attention - and to top it all off, he was just certain he could talk to us, if he only tried often and hard enough! I miss him, but he sure was a handful.
