Often when I think of a character, there is some sort of source that triggered the idea, sometimes it usually starts with just a name or an concept, or something I saw. Sometimes it's something unexpected, like a license plate number.
Well, my folks found an abandoned kitten on a lone road near them...not sure where it came from, no house was near by, so they brought it home, and for a short time I took it in, but something happened, that they took her in instead. She was a wee lass, that I named Harvest, we nicknamed "Harvey" for short.
She was found in around October some years ago. She is a pretty orange tabby, and was so cute, that it inspired me to create the ever so lovely, Harvest, the witch cat, making her, like her origin name's owner, an orange tabby, and my first cat character that wasn't just one colour. :)
As you can see, she is much bigger now, and no, she isn't really fat, that's just her body....cause she doesn't look or feel flabby, and the vet never mentioned her being overweight. We guess she has a large cat species in her gene pool. We sometimes nickname her "Pumpkin" from time to time. She is the 2nd cat to inspire a character of mine.
As of this picture posting, she is one of 6 cats.
