So that was intentional. Probably has a similar personality to although this isn't the first time hare has been turned into a lepus/mopsy. In fact some Japanese artist did a series of drawings turning the entire Monster Rancher cast into Pixie hybrids (except the two humans of course for they remained the same).
You mean Fusisya-O's webcomic!? I really love those! If you couldn't guess I'm a huge fan of his rule 63 version of Hare.. it's a shame he doesn't have too much fanart of her on his page... it's also a shame he stopped doing the series a few years ago. I would kinda like to see and do a full series or at least the first season...
Yes, although I am not sure if I would call it a webcomic since he pretty much makes two pages of a very abridged versions of each episode with the second page just being dedicated to a gag scene. Like you mentioned it would be great to see him do a full series on the episodes rather than just two pages. Tiger/Rygar and Hare/Ham are two of the best characters in Monster Rancher (also the only main characters whose names are different between the Japanese and English versions). Shame the Monster Rancher franchise is pretty much dead.

I know, right? that pic was super hot!I search his pixiv account for more of them involving hare but their didn't seem to be much...he made quite a few about Vanity tho (rule 63 Suezo) So I'm guessing that's his favorite of the 3 main monster girls..I mean she is pretty funny and hot. but anyway it's nice to meet to fellow fan of Fusisya-O's hare
