The bonds can be magical or power sapping, a room/building she was led into could have power dampeners and she's suddenly normal, you could use chains if you had the option, a drug could be used maybe like an injection or a gas. There are ways to bind her regularly without special bindings like the lasso to make her helplessness believable and create a fun narrative for all the heroine possible scenarios :)
