We all knew this was going to happen. Only a matter of time before Rissa jumped into the Sonic Underground universe too. In all honesty, though, she's physically quite similar to SatAM Rissa, bar the fact that she doesn't have a metal leg and doesn't hide her metal arm.
Born in a distant Overlander village, she grew up living in the shadow of vast kingdom Mobotropolis. The village itself was a relatively quiet place, one which opted to keep to itself and generally avoid conflict or interaction with the outside world. She grew up alongside her parents, Moira and Dalton Halcott, but her years growing up were quite unkind to her. Having nowhere to particularly go and no one to hang out with - the village was not very big and there simply weren't many kids around - she often had to find entertainment alone, and spent many-a-days at home with her family. Her father was a particularly loud and verbally dominant man, and in her years growing up, her was quite mean to her. Putting her through a lot of verbal abuse, she grew up constantly being yelled at, insulted, and generally told she was a worthless person. Her mother, having a cowardly personality, simply didn't have the confidence to stand up for her daughter and hid in the background while the abuse escalated slowly. Growing up, she found a hobby in robotics, and at the mere age of 10, her very first design - a foot tall drone named Widget - was finally complete. Unfortunately, Widget's life span was quite short, as her father was becoming an increasingly physical person, and in his rage of one of his fits, he smashed her prize creation against the wall, shattering the little fellow beyond repair. As her father become more and more prone to acts like this, she became more defensive and started designing robots to defend herself instead. A few years later, Rissa had finally had enough of her family and she packed up what little she had (including her current work in progress - the future Wing Drone) and moved on. But the years of bitterness followed her wherever she went, and she found she couldn't trust people as much anymore.
Still, she spent a couple years perfecting her Wing Drone, and keeping herself happy best she could. She eventually moved into the outskirts of Mobotropolis itself, and while she was looked upon with suspicion by the locals, they generally left her alone as long as she didn't make hostile approaches at them. It was while living alone she met Brixian, a soul as broken as herself, and for the first time in her life, she felt truly bonded with someone. Her confidence in herself began to rekindle spark by spark alongside the grasshopper mouse, and she continued working hard on her robots - using parts he helpfully gathered for her. Their quiet life wasn't to last though, as they both soon made a huge choice in their lives. A man known only as Robotnik was plotting an attack on Mobotropolis, with a goal nothing short of total domination. Both Rissa and Brixian had the same plan - to join this man in his attack. Rissa kept her motives relatively to herself, though it was nothing short of sheer bitterness for the past. Feeling no love for the world at this point, she wanted to deliver the same agony to the people she felt growing up, and was more than happy to lend her services - and robots - to Robotnik in the name of doing so. So when he attacked, she stood by his side, finding a second person she could trust among this dark world. Lending her technology to his own, she joined him in taking down the city in one aggressive blow, and felt satisfied in doing so.
Shortly after the conquest, a remnant of the past showed itself. Her family. Having moved out of their village to quite literally follow their daughter around, they finally made it known they had been living in Mobotropolis as well. Her mother, a natural coward, immediately fled in terror from the kingdom's new overlord (though this would not last), but her father, believing himself indestructible, charged Robotnik. This attack did not go well, as her father clearly lacked combat skill and was no trouble for Robotnik to overpower. Wanting to make a spectacle of what would happen should the remaining people try and attack him, he planned an execution for Dalton. Her father screamed obscenities and insults at her the entire time, putting her down for how horrible of a person she was and how this was proof of everything he had been saying. The execution itself was oddly satisfying for Rissa, as it firmly put an end to a bitter part of her past, and in an effort to sever any more ties, she later had Swatbots burn down her old family home, a final insult to her previous life.
Now a loyal underling of Robotnik and unswaying in her morals, she became a violent weapon to be used at his leisure. Still reeling in anger from her past - and learning how to "manage" it from her boss - she grafted herself violent weapons and blew apart any that dared oppose her or her superior. Very shortly after joining Robotnik, she asked him to robotisize her arm, the same one he had accidentally had robotisized, as a show of loyalty, and that too become an effective weapon for her. Rissa and Brixian are owners of a unique variant of amulet similar to those used by the Sonic Underground, amulets instead powered by darkness and negativity. Using the amulet gifted to her, Rissa became quickly skilled in playing the trumpet, the instrument provided by said amulet. Her trumpet, when played, is a beacon of wind power itself and quite literally can blow foes away. Though she primarily uses it simply to output loud sounds, she is adept in playing the very instrument as well and is more than willing to aim it, like any other weapon she has, at anyone Robotnik doesn't like.
While Robotnik does tend to yell quite a bit at Rissa (a trait she's comically started to unknowingly parrot from him over the years), she still trusts him deeply and doesn't feel that he mistreats her. She truly cares for his wishes and will do anything to please him - even if its slightly embarrassing or questionably dangerous. She has no love for Sleet or Dingo and will regularly go out of her way to scream at them, degrade them for minor failures, get them in trouble with Robotnik whenever possible, and sometimes even physically assault them. For the most part, if she fails Robotnik, she just gets thrown in the dungeon for a few days as punishment, which can be either a pleasantly peaceful excuse to "catch up on her sleep" or surprisingly annoying depending on who her cellmate is. Though she regularly begs Robotnik NOT to put her with Sleet, Dingo is actually the primary problem spot, as in his fearful state of being alone, he'll grab hold of her and hug her in terror the entire time. She finds the dungeon to be more annoying than anything, but would rather put up with that over robotization. She can be a little on the lazy side at times and likes to push tasks she considers trivial on to Sleet and Dingo, an action she usually regrets later.
