You thought we had run out of Rissas, but there are MORE of them hiding in the shadows. Here we have Classic aka Genesis style Rissa, simple, but effectively adorable.

This version of Rissa, however, doesn't actually talk. Even in Sonic Generations, she still completely lacks dialogue. She communicates entirely through body gestures and complex emote bubbles that appear above her head, often detailing chibi drawings of characters doing things to explain situations. Of course, she also reacts through simple emotes like hearts for happiness and people she likes, exclamation points what surprised, question marks when confused. Even when she cries or screams, it's through gesture only, as her cries and yowls output no noise. So simply put, she doesn't have vocal cords - or at least, she doesn't know they exist. She may be silent, but Robotnik understands what she's saying, as does our plucky hedgehog hero, so that doesn't effect her ability to be a threat at all.

What does effect her ability to be a threat is how quick she is to flee. She likes to interfere during boss battles in an attempt to get a cheap hit on the player. However, a single hit will usually shut her up, and it's not all that hard to see her coming, as the Wing Drone will quickly fly past in the background to hint she's going for an attack soon.

She does have her own boss battle in Sky Chase Zone, however, where she doesn't go down in a single hit. She still runs crying when beaten, though, so that's how you know it's legit.

Even her robot emotes fully. When the Wing Drone is hit, it "cries silently" as well, its eyes tearing up and it sort of gasping in silent shock.
