Exorcists are mages who specialize in dealing with otherworldly beings such as ghosts and demons. The goal of an Exorcist is simply to get dimensionally-displaced entities back to their own planes of existence. This could mean anything from helping a spirit pass to the next world to closing a demonic portal. Generally forceful exorcisms by means of banishing or even (in the case of more corporeal threats) killing the displaced beings is considered a last resort. After all, most violent interlopers are just confused and afraid, so helping them is the priority.

Each Exorcist carries with them a special medallion containing a lens capable of seeing magical radiation. This allows them to see invisible spirits and detect transdimensional portals much more easily. Their staves are unique and specially "tuned" to the individual, allowing them to modify their shape to suit their needs. Finally, all Exorcists have their own familiar--a small basilisk which is bonded to them telepathically. These familiars can be given orders telepathically, allow their masters to see through their eyes, and also detect magical energies.

This version shows the Exorcists' full robes which are worn in colder environments and for more formal events. When freedom of movement is necessary, they will discard their long, flowy robes.
