Boxing requires a lot of training, and it looks as if Roadkill is definitely doing some proper endurance training. Not only to sustain a pace of attacks, but also to toughen his resistance by hitting the formidable armoured hide of a crocodile. Probably should have worn some boxing gloves too...

It's a form of endurance training! It's fairly commonplace in Muay Thai for there to be various forms of enduring blows as a means of building up tolerance to pain.
Admittedly, this exercise is really more beneficial to Roadkill, the skunk, than it is to Tarvash with the protection of his armoured scales!
